Which Search Engine Optimization Services Apply To You?

February 8th, 2010

There are a lot of different search engine optimization firms that offer many different services and can tailor an online marketing campaign to meet your specific needs. Other companies, however, only focus on a limited number of services and don’t take full advantage of the potential for different advertising and marketing channels. In order to dominate the search engines, you are going to need a company that understands and can use many different SEO techniques.

There are a number of search engine optimization services that are usually considered foundational activities, and most companies should be able to provide them. This includes operations like keyword research. It is important that a company not focus singularly on general, high-profile terms. There many long-tail keywords that can be extremely lucrative if you know how to discover and then target them.

Many companies are including social media as part of their search engine marketing efforts. In recent years, this has become an aspect of online marketing that can’t be ignored. Although social media marketing is technically something different than regular SEO strategies, it is still a very important way to reach new clients.

Most search engine optimization services should be focused on methods to build search engine rankings. There are a lot of options available to optimizers, and many of them are all about building links. Some of the easier tactics to do this involve directory submissions or article marketing. These are important, but part of your services should include a wide range of links.

A search engine optimization firm should always be looking at new ways to gather links and not simply focus on articles and directories. While those methods are a good start, there are many other ways to build links, from guest posting on other blogs and requesting links from important websites to creating content that other will want to link to and bookmark.

Are you sure that your search engine optimization firm can follow through with the services they promised? Do you think the SEO services they offer can really build your rankings? Before you sign any contracts, you should ask some basic questions and make sure they are a company you can rely on.

You need to ask a search engine optimization firm to show you some examples of previous work and their success stories. You should also ask them if they have in experience in your industry or with similar businesses. Also, the SEO industry is always changing, so you should ask them how long they have been in business because this will indicate how adaptable they are.

If you intend to succeed online, you are going to need to take advantage of quality search engine optimization services as soon as you can. This will give you the best chance to climb the search engines and secure a position where your customers will be able to find you.

If you need search engine optimization services then you should check out seo.com. It’s hard to find a good search engine optimization firm so go with a trusted and reliable organization. Don’t reprint this exact article. Instead, reprint a free unique content version of this same article.

One Way Links SEO Company or No Seo Company

February 8th, 2010

In order to have your own answer for the same question which you have been persistently asking then you would have to sit down and work out a few things for yourself. An SEO company will bring experience, commitment and innovation to your SEO campaign as can be proved, while doing things yourself might mean that you miss the latest innovations or learning the new techniques but ultimately that can save your money, at least theoretically.

When it comes to painting usually one opts for the services of a professional painter but you must have the necessary money to pay off the bill of the professional painter. But one thing is certain, the professional would do the things in a better way because of his expertise in the field. However, if you want to paint your house yourself then certainly you are going to save your money but on the other hand you would have to take off from your routine job or miss some other duties. So a big debatable question arises: What is more precious to you – your time or your money?

Determination, experience, innovation and time are the major factors required for a successful SEO campaign besides other things as the running of an SEO campaign takes much time and moreover, the said time is to be repeated every coming month in order to have the optimum successful results of the campaign.

You will require to be able to mnage your website, keyword and competitor research, web optimization, link building capaigns, content writing, social bookmarking, articles and press releases to be submitted besides many other things and when you think about the time involved in all this, not everybody is able to devote that much time.

Many people really can run their own campaigns in a successful manner but is there any harm if the services of an SEO are taken for the same? After all, an SEO would really bring in the expertise, knowledge and the time alongwith to do the job in a more efficient manner or that learning and doing the things at the same time.

Most SEO companies do not go in for the long term contracts and many on the other hand offer you a free review service, so it is well worth having a talk with them or signing up say for a month and seeing how the things go on. But one thing keep in mind that Rome was not built in a day and you would need to give the company time to be successful especially if they are only doing natural SEO and not CPC management.

I can get you thousands of One Way Links with very little effort and even less time. Come to my website to get the scoop.

Link Creating For The Success Of Your Site

February 5th, 2010

Due to the fact that there are millions of sites that are on the web, the challenge becomes how to ensure that your site is listed on the search engines and and can be found by potential customers.

A large percentage of your marketing strategy must be be website backlink building. You will require some tools to help make it easier to gain and manage linking. The advantages of backlinking include more traffic, better search engine placement improvements and web page money making opportunities.

The main reason to build links is to make your website competitive relative to other web pages. The more backlink submissions you make the more of a possibility you have of getting web visitors from these links.

Another valuable positive is that your backlinking count will go up relative to other web sites in your niche category. Sites that have a lot of visitors often have a lot of links and this was achieved by doing manual backlink submissions.

While many people will tell you what you should be doing when it comes to using link exchanges, hardly any will let you know what you should NOT be doing. There are a few specific processes of a backlink exchange, which might actually hurt your rankings instead of improving your web page.

A lot of search engines are extremely finicky and implementing the wrong actions could result in the engines lowering your ranking or even a penalization for things you never expected. Therefore, it is wise to keep your eyes open and understand just what you must avoid when using link exchanges.

Picking The Best Words – In your text links, refrain from using words that are not relevant to your site and link text. By using the phrase click here is of no real value in your text link. Most search engines use text links to decide exactly what they are linking to. You should use only descriptive and applicable words in any text link. If you operate Uncle Joe’s Old Fashioned Grille, put Uncle Joe’s Old Fashioned Grille in your link text, you decidedly do not want to place a link to a web page called New York Librarian.

Avoid link farms – Never, ever, ever, yes I do mean ever exchange your link with any link farm. If a web page looks even close to a link farm, avoid it at all costs. Most search engines place high negativity on link farms and if you are connected with one, it will most definitely cost you on your rankings, basically taking a lot of value away from your site.

Relevancy Really Matters – You are probably tired of listening to this wold, but it is entirely and totally necessary in the sphere of link exchange. You really shouldn’t participate in a link exchange with any site that has no relevance to your own website. There is no connection between those two web pages at all. Instead, you would want web pages about food and other web pages that have a little bit in common with your own web page.

Sound link building will help you right now and for days to come, to help with the success of your web page.

Optimizing for Google

February 4th, 2010

When you build your business website, you want to draw customers in. You can do this through search engine optimization. Some of the items that you can keep track of are overall traffic, number of visits, customers, and search engine rankings. By paying attention to these numbers, you can find out what works and what doesn’t as you tweak your site.

By using SEO optimization, a web developer can work with a wide variety of tools in order to increase overall traffic and popularity to their website. The broad range of general concepts categorized into the Search Engine Optimization market include, though not exclusively, keyword densities, topic relevance, meta tags, script coding, domain names, back linking, search engine submissions and advertising.

Keyword density is an important thing to keep in mind when designing your website. It helps search engine “spiders” to recognize what your site is about, based on the content, by seeing how frequently the keyword is used. However, if the keyword is used too often, your site can get blacklisted as spam, driving traffic away, instead of toward your site.

The relevance of your topics – the content material actually in your website – to the intent of the website is important in helping pull in people. Search engines will rate your topic relevance as compared to the keywords in the search. So, if someone were looking for information on mice, if your site on mice had more topics related to birds than mice, it would be ranked lower than if your content just dealt with mice.

Through headers in professional scripting, you can insert meta tags, basically keywords for your dense content in your website. It is best to do this manually. Although there are script alterations available to automatically put meta tags into the script for you based on densities, it is unwise to do so unless you are very sure of what you are doing.

Starting at the very beginning should be your domain name. A good domain name could make or break your website’s success. Ideally, a domain name will be relevant to your topic, or a business name. For instance, if you have a site dealing with water purifiers, it would be unwise to have a domain name with trees in the name. Another tip: domain names should be either dot com or dot net, the tops in Google.

How To Utilize Backlink Building Strategy To Receive More Traffic

February 3rd, 2010

Getting the ability to build visitors is quite simply, backlinks. The most potent techniques driving the traffic on the web, is the hyperlink.

Backlinking is the engineering that makes it able for you to browse, download products, order items, and do everything you do on the web. And above all else this is the technique that will grow your website visitors. When you point links to other sites , you are building them traffic, and vise versa, when other sites point to your website , they are helping you to get more traffic.

A site that has no links pointing to it will not get visitors from other sites. Because of this the most important traffic generating strategy is creating a lot of backlinks pointing to your site, the more the better. Now, in order to get links more often than not, calls for you to point to other sites.

Large companies like E Bay, Yahoo, Goggle, and MSN get huge website visitors because they are great pointers. There are roughly 100 million e Bay users and Yahoo has more than 300 million users producing billions of dollars in profit. These big companies are related to a lot of other sites through a link of interlocking financial arrangements.

You must link other websites from your site. It is a favor for favor thing. Backlinks will always be the most significant portion of any website promotion campaign. If you want website visitors, search for websites to link to and have them send a link back to your website.

Let’s just say you have a web page that sells paintings you did on Civil War history, then you need to create your website into a site where you will not only list your paintings but also create links to other peoples paintings based on Civil War history and also link to essays, books, personal letters, forums, blogs, journals, poems, movies, and even schools related to Civil War history. Then in return, have them link back to you.

Let say, you have an online business where you supply coffee pots and sell online, you should link to other websites selling toasters, mixers, freezers, dryers, washing machine, iron, and other web pages that relate to coffee. Then have them link back to you.

Be positive you don’t link to your competitors, link to products associated with yours, this will furnish you targeted site traffic. Remember, not all your links are for work, some ought to be for play. All work no play makes for failure.

How to Get Customers to Your Website.

October 9th, 2009

If you are into marketing on the Internet, you will be marketing a website of one kind or another. Maybe you own the URL of that web site or youre promoting a generic link which contains your affiliate code.

Whichever scheme you operate, the problem is the same: how to get enough interested visitors to you website, so that, if they are interested in your product, you have a chance to sell it to them, if they can afford it, before they become so distracted that they click away.

This is the most important problem that faces every single Internet marketer and it is called attracting targeted traffic, getting relevant visitors or something similar. It all comes to the same thing ultimately. If no one can see your product, they cannot buy it or if your visitors are mainly young people interested in swimming, it is no good trying to sell them parachutes.

So, you obviously need as many visitors to your website, who are interested in your product, as you can handle. This means that you need to be highly ranked in the search engines in order that people can find your website. The most popular and most often-used search engine is Google. So, what is the best way get your site ranked highly in Google?

There are thousands of books on this subject, but without exception, the serious ones come to the same conclusion, unless they were written by self-interested safe-list or traffic exchange owners. And that conclusion is that you need links to your site.

Very few people honestly know how Google ranks sites, but it is generally agreed that the more sites linking to a site the better. This has lead some webmasters to exchange links with each other. This is an easy way to get links and Google can recognize reciprocal links. The best links are one-way links, because it shows that someone values your site enough to want to be associated with it. These are called back links.

Therefore, the real problem is how to get enough back links to your site to persuade Google (and the others) that you run an important enough site to rank it highly for your chosen keywords, which should be relevant to the content of your site. How do you do that?

There are many strategies you can employ such as traffic exchanges, safelists, FFAs, forums and writing articles, but to be blunt, the first three of these are a total waste of time. I used to own a safelist and have wasted thousands of hours on traffic exchanges, all for nothing. Posting to forums can be worthwhile, but then ONLY if the link on your post is a follow link. If it is not, it doesnt do any good and most are no follow links. This means that you have to do some research to find the forums where it is worth you posting to (more on this later). That leaves writing articles as the ONLY sure way to get rock-solid back-links to your site based on relevant keywords.

So, you write an article on a subject relevant to your site stuffed (but not over-stuffed) with relevant keywords and then what? Thats easy! You search Google for article directories and blogs, sign up to a couple of dozen and post your article to them.

And that is how you get the best links to become highly ranked, so that people can find you, so that they have a chance to buy what you are selling. The only catch is that Google will expect to see new links appearing on a regular basis, which means writing and posting time after time after time after time ad infinitum. Or does it?

Yes, it does, unfortunately. But the process can be automated and automation is the key to online marketing success. Set up a proven, successful process and let it run ” day and night: all day and all night! I use a system that helps turn an article into thousands of variations and posts them to thousands of search engines, directories, lists and websites, creating literally thousands of back-links!

But don’t think that these variations are just spun! (The industry standard way of creating article variations is to use spinning software to substitute synonyms and pseudo-synonyms eg crimson for scarlet in a random way. This works to a certain degree but can produce pure gibberish too sometimes – who would recognize Crimson O’Hara?). The system I use does not employ this method, but still produces thousands or variants all written by human hand. Then it sends them out to article directories and blogs etc.. Thousands of them. In fact today, there are over 11,000 sites on their list and the list is kept fresh on a monthly basis. Most similar lists are not well maintained because it is so time-consuming to do. Therefore, many contain lots of dead, useless links.

This system takes your article, creates thousands of variations and then posts them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line, which can also be varied. But not only that! It only posts your article to lists and categories that deal with sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So, for example, you could write three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 150 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 150 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 75 sites a day.

That would give your site at least 3,000 links in a month or 100 a day ” all for 2-3 hours work! If you wrote one article a day (an hours work) and it got posted to only 1,000 relevant sites, you would have 30,000 relevant links in a month. Imagine writing an article a day and having it go out to 50 sites a day! After 10 days you would have 500 extra links a day: 15,000 links a month! What about three hours work a day (three articles)? 45,000 extra links a month. Plus all the webmasters who would copy your articles to their sites, ezines and blogs. Would that help you sell your product or not?

If you want to see an example of this systems output, you have just read one ” this article and if you would like to find out more, follow the link in my by-line attached to it.

Search Engine Optimisation Uncovered

October 4th, 2009

Search Engine Optimisation is an ever changing discipline. It works to maximise a website’s ratings on the ‘natural’ search lists on major Search Engines. Natural or ‘organic’ lists form the main body of a SE page. These do not include the paid listings. The PPC (paid) entries tend to feature at the top and right side of the page. Whilst the other free ads have been listed by the SE’s. The order of each site is determined by its ‘importance’ and relevance to the keyword.

Obviously, we want to be as high up the page(s) as possible. If we’re the 7th listing on page 9 then we’re hardly going to get prospects beating our door down! We can’t know for sure about all the criteria Google and the like use to rank us. It isn’t something they publicise to the rest of us!

But there is now a skilled sector entirely devoted to benefiting from high rankings. On the Search Engine side you have upgraded technological patents being regularly filed. (To cause as much uncertainty as possible!) And to rival that, we have a large Search Engine Optimisation sector. Optimisation specialists test, quantify and evaluate a myriad of indicators that affect a site’s ratings.

The objective is to maximise both ‘on-page’ and ‘off-page’ optimisation. There are also ‘off-web’ factors such as demographic and geographic information – but we have no control over this area. (We’ve covered ‘Off Page’ factors in a separate article, as there wasn’t enough room here.)

‘On-Page’ SEO

It’s possible to change the pages of your website to make them ‘friendly’ to the Search Engines. It’s not too complex – it just requires setting your website up the right way. Doing things such as: Keyword seeding (in the right places and the right amounts), using H1 and H2 header tags (and to some extent meta-tags) and internal linking.

Don’t worry if you don’t understand the technical terms. The bottom-line is, that while it is the easiest to control, it has the LEAST affect on your ranking. To be blunt, some would say it hardly has any effect at all. Search Engines used to credit on page factors in the past. Not any longer though.

The only time that ‘on-page’ becomes important is when you have taken care of ‘off-page’ and have a lot of inbound ‘back-links’. If that’s the case, internal linking and a certain amount of on-page fine-tuning can reap rewards.

Things To Consider… Stay away from Keywords that yield six figure results in the beginning. For example, on Google’s Search Engine you’ll see 70 million listings in the UK for the term Car Insurance. It’s not rocket science to realise that competing in this area wouldn’t be productive.

And Yet – When car insurance is prefixed with ‘Southampton’, it becomes a less intolerable three hundred thousand. (Which could be useful if I sold car insurance in Southampton!) You might think that still sounds a lot, and yet it’s not in SEO terms.

I could expect to get ranked far more easily for the longer phrase. In reality, getting ranked for car insurance would cost a fortune! I’d actually be head to head with the really big boys. So not a great idea – especially, in fact, when there are much better ways to go about it.

A precise description is much more valuable to us. We call them Long-tail phrases, as they’re made up of a few particularly chosen keywords. Depending on how competitive your market is, the phrases could be from 2 to 7 words long. Typically they will be 3 or 4 words long.

We prefer to begin optimisation strategies with phrases that bring in less than five hundred thousand results. Sometimes we’ll consider higher counts if the top results are not benefitting from optimisation. As time goes on, we’ll benefit from an automatic improvement on the bigger terms as well. And as our work makes progress, we’ll be onto the bigger terms a few months down the road. This strategy is also far more targeted at the start. Frankly, we’re only interested in the customers who are looking specifically for what we offer. There’s much more chance these people will buy!

Don’t just limit building back links to your website’s home page – link them up to various sub pages as well. The Search Engines like this – especially Google. Category pages for instance are good to back-link. They very frequently link up to a range of sub-pages, so driving appropriate terms to them can be very worthwhile. Thus – don’t restrict the back links to just one page. The managing and listing of individual sub-pages is receiving growing attention from the major Search Engines.
